When you have multiple installations of Tally.Server 9's on the same machine the Service Name will be appended with a continuous running number to make it unique such as 'Tally.Server 9 -1, Tally.Server 9 - 2 etc.' But ideally, even by using only one Tally.Server 9 Service, you can create & maintain multiple Data Names (Data Servers) where each Data Server can maintain multiple Companies.
